Profile

Rain Marlar is an emerging director with production and coordination experience across film, podcasts, and graphic design. She utilizes storytelling to illuminate systems of power for wider audiences. In previous projects, she narrated the dynamics within the New Orleans criminal legal system and women’s inner worlds. Her training in political economy at the London School of Economics and architectural design at Tulane University empowers her to analyze—and visually communicate—complex, pressing issues. She recently gained studio management experience as an intern at Fish Pot Studios, supporting film and commercial productions in New Orleans, LA. Previously, she served as the Director of Digital Arts at Independent Lake Camp, managing instructors and schedules while producing daily videos and overseeing multi-week projects. Together, her education and professional experience prepare her to lead projects from concept development through execution. Collaborations Welcome!
